How to create read only custom attribute in Entity

Using MSCRM WebUI you can create attribute.

• Settings
• Customization
• Customize Entities
• Account
• Attributes
• New
• New custom attribute Name - new_userid
• Publish the customization

For not to modify the attributes by any CRM users and make it as a read only you have to follow the below steps.

• Go to Change properties
• Select the check box “Disable on the form”
• That’s it.

Now you have created read only custom attribute in Entity.
